Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald GRIEST in 1969, and her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Jim McGowan.Survivors include three children, Robert and wife Barbara, New Carlisle, Lois and husband Bill, Kettering, ohio, Richard and wife Carol of Cpringfield; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 13, 1999 in the Bethel Baptist Church, Carlisle Pike, Springfield, Ohio. Mr. WHITTINGTON was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (formerly Second Lutheran Church). St. Andrews Masonic Lodge, a life member of the Khana Shahar Grotto, life member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, life member of Antioch Shrine, 30 year member of the Antioch band and chorus, Home City Chapter Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem and the Amaranth. He was retired from real estate sales. His survivors include one daughter and son in law, Carolyn and Robert BRADLEY, Springfield, one step son and daughter in-law, Steve and Anita RICH, Buford, South Carolina; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wives, Mildred and Charlotte, three daughters, Barbara LEBLANC, Shirley NEUHARDT, and Vicki WHITTINGTON; one son Joseph; one grandson, David NEUHARDT; one sister, Thelma WALDRON. She was born on September 10, 1903 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Lettie (German) Kirkpatrick. Ruth retired from the Lawson Milk Company in 1977. Survivors include five daughters and one son; Eileen (James) Baker of Springfield, Ohio; Lettie (Bob) Arnold of Springfield, Ohio; June (Arthur) Allen Jr., of Jamestown, Ohio; Carolyn Hixon of Springfield, Ohio; Dale Page of Springfield, Ohio, and Joan (Steve) Grieser of Springfield, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Ruth (Page) Hunt of Florida ; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Page in 1962, son Gene in 1981, three sons-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, and one grandson. "Mommie" was mother to many children over her life. She will be remembered for her love and dedication to her husband and her family and friends, never asking for anything in return. She is survived by three sons, Michael and his wife, Deborah of Enon, Daniel and Robert of Springfield; seven grandchildren, Amy, Brian and Kevin DOBYNS, Erin and David WATKINS, Brook EWICK and Craig SPARKS; and two nephews, Tom and Gary JODON. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard W. DOBYNS in 1997; and a brother, Clyde JODON. Bob served in the Army from 1939-1941. Bob retired in 1980 from the nited States Post office. Bob was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Ancient, Mystic Order of Samaritans, and Elderly United. Survivors include his wife, Iola L. GUNTER; son and daughter-in-law, William and Kay GUNTER; son and daughter-in-law, Lt. Col Daniel and Bonnie GUNTER; four grandchildren, Danny, Tabitha, Sara, and Richard; three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Larissa, and Samantha. He is survived by one brother and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Mae GUNTER on December 4, 1989; his son, Robert H. GUNTER, Jr., March 18, 1999; two brothers and one sister. Ray had 39 years of service at Navistar and was a member of Local 402, retiring in 1972. He was a charter member of meadow Grove Wesleyan Church and currently was a member of the High Street Church of the Nazarene. He was also very active in the community being a charter member of the Northside Civic Association. He was also a former member of the Ohio Defence Corps. He retired from Robbins and Meyers with over 30 years of service. Howard is survived by his wife of 61 years, Isabel (SHEPARD) BAILEY; on son, Kenneth G. (Roberta) BAILEY of Chapin, South Carolina; two granddaughters, Nicole (Craig) ABRAHAM of Coming, Georgia, and Lindsay BAILEY of Columbia, South Carolina; one great-grandson, Bailey Alan ABRAHAM of Cumming, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. He was a life member of the American ex-prisoners of War Association and the DAV, he was a charter member of the American Legion 746 of Northridge and a member of the Ohio Mobile Home Association. G.
