She has lived here most of her life and had been employed by Robbins and Myers, Inc., for 37 years, retiring in 1959. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the R. and M. Benefit Association, the Springfield Senior Citizens Club, the Springfield Drop-In Center, Local 902 and the R and M Girl's Club. Mrs. SULKIN was born in Clinton County Sept 13, 1890, the daughter of Patrick and Emma Moore GROGAN. Her first husband, Samuel CURREY, Sr. died in 1930 and her second husband, Earl SULKIN died in 1951. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs Ray (Thelma) NEEDLES of Springfield, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, a son, Samuel, and a daughter Clarice, also preceded her in death. Her body was taken to the Conroy Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home by the Rev. Jon Joyce, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and Gary Johnson, pastor-intern. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.

Howard FORBECK, 58, of 5241 Lower Valley Pk., died at 5:45 a.m. Saturday in Greene Memorial Hospital, Xenia. He was born April 17, 1912, in Springfield, the son of Albert and Maude MERRIMAN FORBECK and had resided in Clark county all of his life. Mr. FORBECK was a retired farmer. Survivors include a brother Paul, with whom he made his home; two nieces, Mrs. Barbara STICKLE of LaPuente, Calif., and Mrs. Blanche RODGERS of Harmony, and one nephew, David FORBECK of Springfield. His body was taken to the Littleton funeral homewhere friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Services willbe held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Enon Cemetery.

Mrs. Maude Marie (LOWE) MILLER, 71 of Van Nuys, Calif., widow of Lewis L. MILLER, died in Van Nuys Friday following a prolonged illness. She was born Aug. 2, 1898 in Marysville, the daughter of Chark and Lulu BLAND LOWE and resided in Springfield from 1918 to 1948, at which time she moved to Van Nuys. While a resident of Springfield Mrs. MILLER was a member of the Fifth Lutheran Church and the Springfield Country Club. Her husband, Lewis L., former attorney in Springfield, former City Commissioner and Mayor, former judge for Municipal Court and Chairman of the Republication County Committee, died in 1939. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jan S. (Louise) BERRY of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Thomas D. (Carolyn) SHEPARD of Woodland Hills, Calif.; one son, Lt. Comd. Robert Lewis MILLER of Charleston, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Harry D. of Columbus; one niece and two nephews. Graveside services and burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Ferncliff Cemetery in charge of the Rev. August Schneider, pastor of the Fifth Lutheran Church. Local arrangements are in charge of the Jackson, Lytle and Coffman Funeral Home. There will be no calling house in the funeral home.

John Roger HANES, 68, of 2111 Broadway, a retired employee of Speco Division of the Kelsey-Hayes Co., was dead on arrival of Springfield Fire Division emergency squadmen at 2:32 p.m. Friday after he became ill at his home. �Mr. HANES was born in Clark County on Nov. 22, 1901 the son of John and Della CRISSINGER HANES & had lived in Clark County all his life. He was a member of Clark Lodge 101, F. and A.M., Springfield Chapter 48, Springfield Council No. 17, Scotish Rite Valley of Dayton, and the Antioch Temple Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. He was graduated from the Wittenberg Academy in 1920 and attended Wittenberg University. �Survivors include his wife, Elma; a son, John Roger HANES, Jr., of Leesburg Fla.; a brother, Col. Robert C. HANES of Springfield; a sister, Mrs. Ruby NEWLAND of Blissfield, Mich.; three grandchildren, Debbie Sue, Lisa Ann and John, all of Ocala; several nieces and nephews. His body was taken to the Littleton Funeral Home.

She was the widow of William Henry BOLEN who died in 1934, and both were former residents of Lilly Chapel Area in Madison County. �Mrs. BOLEN was born in Hocking County Feb. 9, 1881, daughter of Leander and Lucinda ELLENBERER MURPHY. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Springfield, was a charter member of Rebecca Lodge of Lilly Chapel. �Survivors include a daughter, Miss Rema BOLENof Springfield; a son, Wilber of New Carlisle; two grandchildren. Mrs. Carolyne Whitman GARRETT , 84, formerly of 653 Amelia st., died at 6:30 Saturday in the IOOF Nursing Home following a lingering illness. She was a resident of Springfield for the past 18 years and a former resident of Richmond, Ind., where she lived with her husband, Herbert C. GARRETT , who preceded her in death in 1956. She was a member of the former Helping Hand Club of the old North Street Church of which Mrs. GARRETT 's uncle, the Rev. Alberry WHITMAN, was the pastor at the time of construction of that church. While a resident of Richmond, Mrs. GARRETT was a member of the Bethel AME Church and a member of the Ladies Aid Society of that church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ernestine LUCAS of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Ernestine W. GREENE of Oakland, Calif., and Ethel W. ELLIOTT of Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandchildren, Emily Margaret LUCAS and Lt. J. G. Robert Gilliam LUCAS with the U.S. Navy; one great-granddaughter, Amber Melissa LUCAS of Groton, Conn. He was employed as an inspector for the Robbins and Myers Company for 42 years, retiring in 1952. He was a member of the Robbins and Myers Security League. Mr. KAMBEITZ was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. Surviving is his wife, Elizabeth; a daughter, Mrs. George (Rose Marie) SMITH of Springfield; a son John M. KAMBEITZ ; two sisters, Mrs. Anna HICKMAN of Springfield and Mrs. Eva SHANK of Lima, O.; a brother, Albert of Springfield; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was born in Springfield and had resided here all of her life. Mrs. BURKE was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a graduate of Wittenberg University. She was the widow of the late Edwin BURKE, former Clark County Engineer, who died in 1953. Survivors include a stepson, Jack BURKE of Springfield, and several cousins.

He had been retired for two years, having been employed by the Ulery Greenhouse Co. and Good and Reese, Inc. Survivors include one son, Robert G. of Monroeville; three sisters, Miss Jessie O. BUFFENBARGER, Mrs. Richard (Grace) SHYRIGH, and Mrs. Charles (Marie) PHILLIPS, all of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews. New Carlisle - Requiem mass will be sung Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church for Rev. Karl F. WILHELM, 59, who died Saturday of a heart attack. Saturday was the 42nd anniversary of his admission to the Society of Mary. He was ordained in 1940 at Fribourg, Switzerland. Prior to his assignment to Sacred Heart Church, he taught and served as chaplain at high schools in Cleveland, Mineola, Long Island, N. Y. and Chaminade at Dayton. From 1947 to 1958 he served at a Society of Mary school in Yokohoma, Japan. A special viewing will be held in the University of Dayton capel from 12 noon until 3 p.m. Tuesday, after which his body will lie in state at Sacred Heart Church until 10 a.m. Wednesay. He will be buried in the Society's Gate of Heaven Cemetery on the Universtiy of Dayton campus.

She was born in Ross County June 27, 1882, a daughter of Jesse and Sarah RIDGEWAY THOMPSON. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Louise) SHAY and Mrs. L. He was a member of the National Rural Letter Carriers Association; Third Lutheran Church and was formerly superintendent of Mill Creek Sunday School. Born Feb. 1, 1879 in Clark County, he was the son of Isaiah and Lydia BAKER MINNICK. His wife, Dola, died in 1948. Allen C. BLACK 68; founding partner and retired executive vice president of Springfield Gravure Corp. died at 6:45 AM Sunday in Morton Neff Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Fla, after a sudden illness. Mr Black moved from Springfield to Florida five years ago. He lived at 100 Bluffview Dr. Bellaire Bluffs, Fla. He became executive vice president to Springfield Gravure in 1962, having served as vice president and sales director of the firm after its formation in December, 1956. Formerly gravure superintendent of the Crowell-Collier Publishing Co, Mr. BLACK and four other Crowell employees founded Springfield Gravure after the company suspended printing activities in Springfield in 1956. Mr. BLACK had been in gravure work over 44 years when he retired several years ago. He was a member of St. Andrews Lodge 619, F. and A.M. Springfield, Palestine Commandery 33, Knights Templar, Springfield council 17, Royal Arch Masons and was a former member of the Springfield Rotary Club. In Florida he was a member of Church of the Isles, Indian Rocks Beach, and was past president of the Clearwater Beach Rotary Club. Survivors include his wife, Mildred CRABILL BLACK, two sons, John E. BLACK, business manager of Springfield Newspapers, Inc. and Richard A. of Springfield; Two grandchildren, Steven and Barbara and a brother John E. of Holmes Beach, Fla.
