Mrs. Vera Mari Ingling Hebble, 73, of 374 S. Arlington av., died at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in Community Hospital. She was born in Clark County Oct. 14, 1900, the daughter of Guy and Jennie Allen Ingling. A retired school teacher, she had been employed by both Clark County and Springfield schools. She was a member of Oakland Presbyterian Church, the National Retired Teachers Association, The Clark County Retired Teachers Association, , and the Delta Theta Tau Sorority. Mrs. Hebble is survived by a son, Jack, of Newark, O.; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Grace) Bost of Springfield; four brothers, William Ingling of Enon, Dr. Howard Ingling of Donnelsville; Robert and George Ingling, both of South Charleston; two grandchildren, Susan and Bruce Hebble; a cousin, Mae Allen with whom she resided and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Lt. Col. Paul Hebble, was killed in 1954, and a brother Marvin, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Bettlon, are also deceased. The family will receive friends in the Ingling Funeral Home, South Charleston, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Last rites for Mrs. Hebble will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home, with burial in the Enon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the L:eukemia Fund of the American Cancer Society, at the family's request.

�Charles W. NAWMAN, 86, West Liberty, a Clark county native who was a retired farmer and school custodian at New Moorefield, died shortly after 5 AM Saturday in Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine where he had been a patient nine days. He was a son of Thomas and Alice HINKLE NAWMAN and attended the Wesley Chapel Church. He was a member of the Donnelscreek Council of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics at North Hampton for 65 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel JEWELL; a son Charles Willis NAWMAN and a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Phyllis) LUSTER, both of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; two step-sons, Arnold PAGE of West Liberty and Albert Page of Bellefontaine. His first wife, the former Goldie CALLISON, died in 1947 and a daughter, Evah, and three brothers are also dead. Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Kauffman Funeral Home, West Liberty, in charge of the Rev. Homer Knabel and burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near New Moorefield. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Junior Order of United American Mechanics services will be held in the funeral home at 8 p.m. Monday.

Page 18 Earl D. BALLENTINE, 73, of 2335 Route 54, Urbana, died unexpectedly at 9:10 p.m., Sunday in his residence. He was born Aug. 13, 1900, in Springfield, the son of Matthew and Clara HERMAN BALLENTINE. Mr. BALLENTINE was a member of the Urbana Methodist Church, Harmony Lodge No. 8, F. and A.M., Urbana Chapter, Council and Commandry, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and was a former member of the Antioch Shrine. He retired in 1965 after 38 years of service with the International Harvester Co. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude WARDEN BALLENTINE; one daughter, Mrs. James (Joan) DYER of Findlay; one son, Earl, Jr., of Urbana; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Thelma BOSTICK of Urbana. His first wife, Ellen, died in 1941. One daughter, one sister and three brothers are dead. His body was taken to the Walters Funeral Home, Urbana, where friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday. Services will be held there at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in charge of the Rev. Edgar G. WELLER, 91, formerly of 1615 Woodward av., died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday in the Rebekah Hospital following three years of failing health. Mr. WELLER was a retired educator, having taught 50 years in and around the Springfield area. Mr. WELLER began teaching in the Champaign County school system, subsequently serving in teaching and supervisory capacities at North Hampton School, Hollansburg School, Olive Branch, South Ward School in Urbana, Lincoln School and Snyder Park Junior High School. Mr. WELLER was the first principal of Roosevelt Junior High School. The school was opened in 1924 and he served as its principal until 1952. He obtained a bachelor's degree from Wittenberg University and a Master's Degree from Columbia University entirely by summer and Saturday school work. He was active in church work and was a member of the board of trustees at Central United Methodist Church, and was, at one time, superintendent of the Sunday School. Mr. WELLER was a life member of the National Education Association and the National Congress of Parents and Teachers. He was born March 10, 1883, in London, O., the son of Franklin Pierce and Mary G. CLINGAN WELLER. Survivors include two sons, William F. and Merrill B., both of Springfield; one sister, Miss Flora WELLER of Urbana; a brother, DEWITT of Urbana and two nieces. Since her residence here, she was active in the Bellefontaine First Methodist Church. Her first husband, Edward Earl SINGLETON, died in January, 1938, and her second husband was Homer CORDELL. She is survived by a son, William SINGLETON of Sharon Hill; four daughters, Mrs. Anna LAMSON of Bellefontaine, Mrs. Pauline O'BYRNE of Brookhaven, Pa., Mrs. Edna MCCLELLAN of Chester, Pa., and Mrs. Ida Mae SHAFER of Minneapolis, Minn., and 21 grandchildren; two brothers, David and Louis BICKEL both of Philadelphia. Her body will be taken to the Eichholta Funeral Home and will be taken to the Bleyler Funeral Home at Chester, Pa., where services will be held Friday. Burial will be in Chester Rural Cemetery.

Ralph E. WAGNER, 90, of 118 E. Second st., died at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday in Mercy Medical Center following a year and one-half of failing health. He was born Nov. 24, 1883, in Champaign County, the son of Joseph and Margaret ENGLE WAGNER. He was a retired inspector-foreman of Speco Division of Kelsey-Hayes Co. Mr. WAGNER was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, the Wesleyan Class of the Church, St. Andrew's Lodge No. 619, F. and A.M., and Springfield Lodge, IOOF, of which he was a 69-year member. He was born May 23, 1897, in Springfield, the son of James W. and Velle LARY HOLLAND. He was a veteran of World War I, serving with the U.S. Army. Mr. HOLLAND was a member of American Legion Pearce-Kearns Post No. 120, the Disabled American Veterans, and was a retired 50-year employe of Murphy's greenhouse. Survivors include his wife, Nellie; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Clay WADE and Mrs. Lena LOWE, both of Urbana; a brother, Frank of Urbana; several nieces and nephews. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Betty SHOFFNER and Mrs. James (Mary Geraldine) MCBRIEN, both of Bellefontaine; two sons, Richard T. NEWLAND of Bellefontaine, and Harold G. NEWLAND of Aurora, Colo.; 16 grandchildren; a brother, Harold L. JACOBS of Bellefontaine; two sisters, Mrs. E.P. (Pauline) MURPHY of Springfield, and Mrs. J.M. (Shirley) PATTERSON of Indianapolis, Ind., a step-daughter and a step-son. Three daughters, one son and one brother are deceased. Services will be conducted Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Kennedy Funeral Home by the Rev. M. Dale Humbert. Burial will be in the cemetery at Zanesfield.
