Services will be 11 am Monday in Trostel-Chapman Funeral Home, New Carlisle, with Pastor Harold FIGLEY officiating. Graveside service at 2 pm in Bainbridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday in the funeral home. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Cancer Society.

He was a member of New Carlisle Lodge Number 100 F&AM, Home City Chapter Number 258 OES, Valley of Dayton Scottish Rite, and the Antioch Shrine. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby J. (FERGUSON) and a brother Elden and a sister, Edith SMITH. Surviving are his wife Lucille (KNISLEY) BARTLEY; two step daughters, Mrs. Carol (Irwin) FULLER, Redding, California; Mrs. Jane (Dean) BELL, Mt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel BERE in 1972. He was a retired general foreman for Navistar of 37 years. He was a member of New Carlisle Lodge, No. 100, Free and Accepted Masons. He was preceded n death by his wife, Ina on November 17, 1983 and a daughter Helen GEAN, on August 10, 1970. Survivors include his wife Dorothy M.; four sons, Charles Edward and Raymond L. both of Springfield, Joseph A. or Trenton, Ohio, George F. of Troy, Ohio; one daughter, Mary M. She was preceded in death b her husband. Harry F. MOHR in 1960 and son Richard MOHR in 1983, four brothers are also deceased. He was born in Logan county, West Virginia on January 28, 1910, the son of the late Silvester and Martha ADAMS. He was a former employee of the Crowell-Collier of Springfield and retired in 1985 from the Bendix Corporation. He was a member of the Christiansburg United Methodist Church, Mt. Olivet Lodge Number 225 (F&AM) Christiansburg, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. Survivors include his wife, the former Norma MORROW whom he married on May 19, 1962; one son, Steve of Springfield; one grandson, Jeff ADAMS; one granddaughter, Jodi ADAMS, both of Springfield; one sister, Bessie REED of Oceanna, West Virginia; one step-sister, Merle MORGAN of Springfield. One daughter, Cinda and four brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM in the Richeson-Wickham and Atkins Funeral Home, St. Paris, with the Rev. Robert Anderson of the Christiansburg United Methodist church officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Grove Cemetery, St. Paris. Friends may call in the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-9 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Christiansburg United Methodist Church. Masonic Services will be held in the funeral home at 7 PM Tuesday.
