Dorothy A. REINHEIMER VOORHEES, 101, formerly of Springfield, died Saturday morning, October 14, 1995 in Hollywood, Florida, where she had resided since moving in 1981. She was born April 22, 1894 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Emil and Anna Barbara (WEINGART) NUNLIST. Mrs. Voorhees was an active member of First Lutheran Church until moving to Florida. She was a past Matron of the Home City Chapter of Eastern Star and had been a member of Mother Singers and several other community organizations. Although her life was principally spent as homemaker and mother, she was a graduate of Springfield City Hospital School of Nursing and practiced her profession at both the hospital and privately. In 1918 she married Joseph P. REINHEIMER and they were the parents of four children, three of whom survive, John D. REINHEIMER of Carpinteria, CA, Joan COMPTON of Niceville, FL and Mary L. TILLOTSON, Hollywood, FL. Other survivors include twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. In 1953, she married a family friend, James M. VOORHEES. She is preceded in death by first husband, Joseph, in 1950, second husband, James VOORHEES and oldest daughter, Dorothy A. PATTERSON, in 1973. Funeral service will be held in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home on Friday at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Imhoff officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Calvin E. ROBERDS 72, of Springfield, died Monday, October 23, 1995 in Ohio State University Hospital, following a month of declining health. He was born September 5, 1923, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Luther E. and Mary H. (SCHAFFNER) ROBERDS. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army. He retired in January 1985 with 32 years of service from the Springfield Fire Department as a platoon commander. Cal was a member of the First Baptist Church, a Past-President of Cardinal Squares, and the Clark County Historical Society. He was an avid organ and keyboard entertainer, visiting area nursing homes monthly and at Cliff Mill and Tipp City Roller Mills. Cal authored the book, "From Buckets to Diesels, A History of the Springfield Fire Fighter" and was active in the C F Water Group. Survivors include his wife, Donna (REAM) of Springfield, whom he married in January of 1983; two daughters, Linda (Steve) MASSIE and Sandra K. He was born in South Solon, Ohio on December 13, 1914, the devoted and loving son of Walter F. and Elizabeth Gail (SCOTT) ARMSTRONG. He had been employed as a firefighter for the City of Springfield, for 27 years, retiring in 1974 and had also worked for Taggart Building Supply for a number of years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Firefighters Local 333, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 397, was a member of the Springfield High School class of 1932 and was an avid bowler. He bestowed upon and received much love from his family which includes his wife of 60 years, Audrey L. (JUNG), whom he married on July 31, 1935; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie G. and Jim HOFFMAN, and Nancy L. and Bob STUCKEY; a son, Gary A. ARMSTRONG, all of Springfield; seven grandchildren, Jill and John CRABTREE, Steve, Michelle, and Tina REESE, and Courtney and Bryan ARMSTRONG; three great-grandchildren, Christopher REESE, Cody CRABTREE, and Meranda PINKHAM; and one niece. Barbara Lou FOLEY MARTIN, 74, of Pensacola died Friday, March 8, 1996, after a prolonged illness. Born in Springfield, Ohio, on September 28, 1921, Mrs. Martin had been a resident of Pensacola since 1947. She attended college at Miami University of Ohio. In 1981, Mrs. Martin retired after 20 years civil service at Pensacola Naval Air Station, where she was employed as an executive secretary at the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory (NAMRL). In addition to her official duties, Mrs. Martin acted as an unofficial NAMRL ambassador of friendship to scientists and their families from all over the world. She was highly respected for her professional skills, and the hospitallity she extended to visitors enhanced national and international relations in the global scientific community. Mrs. Martin was also active in the local community, volunteering as a Sunday School teacher at Warrington Presbyterian Church, a member of numerous advisory committees of the Escambia County School Board and chairman of the School and Child Division of the Northwest Florida Safety Council. She also served as the president of PTAs at Navy Point Elementary, Warrington Jr. High and Pleasant Grove Elementary. Mrs. Martin was selected president of the Escambia County Council of PTAs, was a member of the Board of Managers of the Florida Congress of Parents and Teachers and chairman of the Escambia County Juvenile Court Advisory Board. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jack A. MARTIN; sons, Christopher A. MARTIN and his wife, Philomena, of Burbank, Calif., and Stephen R. MARTIN and his wife, Judi, of Arlington, Texas; daughters Janie MARTIN CUNNINGHAM of Eustis and Suzy MARTIN PETERSON and her husband, Stephen K., of Vero Beach. She was a mem-ber of the Church of God and worshipped at Hillside Avenue, where she was the First Secretary, taught Sunday School in the Primary Department for over thirty-five years, served on the Board of Christian Education, the Music Committee, sang in the choir, and played the piano. She was also active in the Women's Auxilliary at Community Hospital and at Pillars Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willard L. STRAYER in 1959; her second husband, C1arence E. PRUGH in 1980; her only sister, Nellie COTTER in 1970; and her nephew, John L. COTTER in 1971. Survivors include a stepson, Chester W. L. and Marguerite (PERFECT) BOTKIN. He was the retired owner of Bill's Flowers and Gifts. He attended Urbana University and Muskingham College and was a veteran of the United States Army, European Theater, World War II. He is survived by his wife, Dolores (JOHNSON) BOTKIN of Urbana; children, Shelley (Eric) GROTZINGER of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Brian (Maureen) BOTKIN of Marietta, Georgia; grandchildren, Adam and Laurel GROTZINGER, and Zachary an Brandon BOTKIN; sister, Marjorie (Orland) KELCH of Urbana; brother, Bruce (Marilyn) BOTKIN of Marysville; and nieces and nephews. He was a member and Past President of Urbana Rotary International & Member & Past President of District 4 F.T.D. Mr. BOTKIN was very active in his business and community for over 28 years. He was a member and Past Vestryman of the Church of the Epiphany, Scioto at Kenton Streets, Urbana, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Rick McCracken-Bennett and the Rev. Andrew Newman will officiate. Burial in Oak Dale Cemetery. Raymond W. PARISH, Arizona, formerly of Springfield, Ohio, passed away April 7, 1996. He was a retired Rocket Fuels Technician for the Civil Service for over thirty years. He also served in the United States Navy during World War II aboard the U.S.S. Roosevelt. Mr. PARISH is survived by his wife of 56 years, Grace (BRUNEY) PARISH; daughter, Connie; son, Dale; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. PARISH has made his home in Phoenix since his retirement.

Roy Rei FOGLE, 82, of Springfield, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 1996, in Good Shepherd Village following and extended illness. He was born in Springfield on July 4, 1913, the son of Oscar and Glenna (RATHBUN) FOGLE. He was an industrial photographer with Cooper Energy Services for over 25 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars post 8673, Ohio Credit union League, former chapter president of the Springfield Credit union, and was a World War II Army-Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Gladys (COSS); a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy L. and William JACOBS of Shoshoni, Wyoming; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Gerrie FOGLE, and Craig and Ruth FOGLE, all of Springfield; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Conroy Funeral Home, with the Rev. Allen Dietz officiating. He was born July 14, 1942, in Springfield, Ohio, a son of William H. and Flora (JOHNSON) WOODS, Jr. He had served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. Mr. WOODS was an employee of General motors and a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria J. (PERRYMOON) WOODS; a son, William "Buddy" WOODS, IV, of Spingfield; two daughters and a son-in-law, Crystal Lynn WOODS of Springfield, and Carmen R. and Eric BOONE of Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Carlton E. Woods of Springfield; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara Ann SMITH and her friend, Thomas MCDONALD of San Antonio, Texas, and Phyliss M. and Cecil MOSLEY of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, John L. WOODS, Tyler B. WOODS, Morgan M. WOODS, Jason BOONE, and Janelle BOONE; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Nancy PERRYMOON; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Jessica WOODS. Visitation is Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in the St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Donald C. Huebner officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.

Mr. FREEZE retired from Navistar in 1976, following 30 years of service. He is survived by one son, Robert L. FREEZE, Jr. of Springfield; three daughters and sons-in-law, penny and Donald KING, Laura and James BUSH, all of Urbana, and Linda and Mark SULLIVAN of Springfield; one sister, Dorothy GRAINGER of Kentucky; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. FFREEZE in 1963; three sisters; and four brothers. Friends may call in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar memorial Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Olive DAYTON LAMBERT STACEY, 88, died peacefully in the Pythian Home at 10:40 a.m. Monday, April 22, 1996, in Springfield, Ohio. She was born July 5, 1907, in Milford Center, Oho, the daughter of Leslie and Nellie WILGUS DAYTON. She was a longtime employee of Sears in the Cashier Department. Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Raymond and Sylvia WELSHEIMER of Springfield; three nieces; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil LAMBERT: and infant son, Martin; husband, Eldon STACEY; two brothers, Lee and Francis DAYTON. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held at Jones-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home at the convenience of the family. Interment will follow in the Christiansburg Cemetery.
