He was a self-employed dairy farmer for 55 years. He was a member of the American Jersey Cattle Club, the Ohio Jersey Cattle Club and was a director of District 9 Miami Valley Jersey Breeders Association. Mr. Beatty spent 6 years as a Greene County Sheriff Deputy and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Fairborn Lodge Number 2641. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Ann (HARDING) BEATTY, Xenia; two step-daughters, Debra WENTZ, Dayton and Tara SAMMONS, Fairborn; two foster children, Dale TAYLOR and Marilyn TAYLOR, both of Xenia; one step-grandson, Rod SMITH, Xenia; one sister, Mrs. C. He was born September 2, 1906 in Marion County, the son of Cora NEWBERRY and Viola (WEIR). He retired after 28 years service as a milkman for the Borden Company. Survivors include his wife, Mary K. (RAHNOR/LEWIS); two sons, Carl NEWBERRY, Springfield, Jack NEWBERRY, Orlando, Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Jane) KIMLOCK, Springfield; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two daughter-in-laws, Mary NEWBERRY, Springfield, Linda NEWBERRY, Orlando; two brothers, Harry BRINER, Grove City, Ben BRINER, Circleville; three sisters, Ruth BRUGN, Circleville, Edna RUSSELL, Mansfield and Marie MILLER, Columbus; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jessie Mae in 1973. He was a member of the Borden Quarter Century Club and Elderly United of Springfield, also attended Salvation Army Citadel. Dr. BUSCH was president of the medical staff at Mercy in 1974 , was a member of the Clark County Medical Society, Ohio State Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Practice, the First United Methodist Church in New Carlisle, and he wa an army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post Number 286 in New Carlisle. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jean) WILDMAN of Springfield; two grandchildren, Andrew and Amy WILDMAN; his mother, Zelma BUSCH of Sylvester, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred on September 13, 1984. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday in the Trostel-Chapman Funeral Home, New Carlisle with the Rev.
