He is survived by his foster step-mother, Mamie OXNER of Springfield; one sister, Patricia Hairston of Columbus; his wife, Mattie (COSEY) JENNINGS; two daughters, Kirsti and Nikki JENNINGS, both of Springfield; five sons, Kent, Randall, Melvin, jr., Robert and Tyrone JENNINGS all of Springfield; one uncle, Robert ALLEN of Springfield; five grandchildren; four nieces, Arneita and Newana HAIRSTON, both of Columbus, Stracy DABNEY of Japan and Miccau MCCLELAND of Columbus; two nephews, Charles Edward and Charles Anthony HAIRSTON, both of Columbus; beloved mother-in-law, Leona KENNERLY of Springfield; and a number of cousins and friends. His body was taken to the Dennis l. He attended Central United Methodist Church, was a member of Local Number 402 (UAW), and a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army in the European area. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (HENRY) VITITOE, one son and daughter-in-law, Willard M. (Butch) and Pat VITITOE of St. Paris; on daughter, Mrs. Joyce EVELSIZOR of st. Paris; six grandchildren, Rachel, Tony and Tonya VITITOE of St. Paris, Nikki, MADER, storm and Erika EVELSIZOR, all of St. Paris, one brother Walter of Columbus; three sisters, Dorothy CARLISLE of Springfield, Mary Edith BECK of Russellspoint, and Leona ROCKFIELD of North Hampton; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 1937 graduate of Xenia High School and attended Miami Jacobs Business College, Dayton and the Cincinnati Bible Seminary. She retired after 25 years of government service at Treasurer Island in San Francisco and Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She had been a member of the First Church of Christ in Xenia since 1932 and formed the first Women's Council at the church. She was also active in the missionary work of mark and Pauline MAXEY in Japan and taught Sunday School. She is survived by her husband, J. Wendell BOBBITT, whom she married on January 18, 1942; two daughters, jo W. (Wendy) and son-in-law, Richard MULLINS of Xenia, and Lynn Renee, at home; a special daughter and grandson, Pamela J. and Ricky CASAD, of Daulton City, Illinois; two aunts, Ruth and Mildred WILLAIMS of Hillsboro; a sister, Margaret WELSHEIMER of Enon; a brother, Robert SECRIST of Aberdeen, Mississippi; a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a Catholic Central High School graduate. She is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Angela and Richard William THERIAC, Carmelita and Lawrence E. STEPHENSON, all of Springfield, and Kathleen and Richard R. Four brothers and a sister are dear. His body was taken to Austin Richards and Raff Memorial Home for calling hours from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be oncducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Rockway Lutheran Church by Dr. Frederick M. Otto and Dr. T.A. Kantonem. His body will ie at the church for one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.

Roger W. MCKEEVER, 59, of 1326 Terrace Dr., a life-long resident of Springfeld, died at 10:32 a.m. Sunday in Community Hospital after two years of failing health. He was born July 12, 1921, a son of Warren E. and Carrie ANDREWS MCKEEVER. He was emoloyed by the William Bayley Co as an estimator and was a member of the Mensa Society. Survivors include his wife, Virginia EATON MCKEEVER; four daughters, Mrs. Leo (Barbara) MARTIN and Mrs. Jerry (Carol) BULLOCK, both of Springfield, Mrs. Virginia GREENE, Portland, Ore., and Miss Julie MCKEEVER, at home; a son, Thomas R. of Springfield; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Orville and Virgil of Springfieldd; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Littleton Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Burress, pastor of Northside Baptist Church. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
