He was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 27, 1916, a son of Henry and Emma (CALLISON) NAWMAN and resided in Springfield all of his life. He had been employed as plant superintendent for Hoppes Manufacturing Company for 25 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 397, Masonic Lodge #100, Northwoods Hills Country Club, the Union Club and was a former member of the Liedertafel Club. Survivors include his wife, Margaret L.; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn MERRIMAN, Springfield; a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian BERNICE, January 21, 1980; one brother J. Harvey; two sisters, Lola HINKLE and Catherine C. HINKLE. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, London and the Altar Rosary Sodality. She was a member of the PTA of Madison Rural School, London. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary) DRENNEN, Springfield; two sons, Francis J., Mt. Sterling, Ohio, Ray E., Orient, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Edna REIBOLD, with whom she resided, Miss Blanche LOGSDON, Springfield, Miss Mary E. In addition to his wife, the former Louise FOLEY, whom he married on November 18, 1950, he is survived by one daughter, Darlene LEACH, Springfield; one step-daughter, Mrs. Nancy (BAKER) NEER, Kettering; one step-son, Robert F. Robert TERRY, 68, of 1200 Markley Road, London, Ohio, died at 11:25 a.m. Thursday, June 14, in Madison County Hospital, London. He was a London resident since 1956. He was born in Mt. Sterling, Ohio, June 3, 1916, a son of George and Frances (HENRY) TERRY. He was a self-employed farmer for 22 years, and for many years, the leader of the Pleasant Valley Boys Band, a WW II Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 106, the Madison County Farm Bureau. Survivors include his wife, Ivory (HAYES) TERRY; a daughter, Sandra TERRY, at home; a sister, Mrs. Earl (Lena) MOREHEART, London; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Geer-Eberle Funeral Home, London, with the Rev. Joe Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Hospital, London.

He is survived by his wife, Edra Catherine (EVILSIZOR) BARGER after 57 years of marriage; two daughters, Carol COY, Houston Texas, Patricia BARGER, Springfield; six grandchildren, Jeff COY, San Antonio, TX, Noel COY, Austin, TX, Tracy, Kim, Natalie RECTOR, Springfield, Ted RECTOR , serving in the US Navy, stationed in San Diego, Calif, several nieces and nephews. He had retired from International Harvester Corp after 45 years of service. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, North Hampton, the A.A.R.P, and the Elderly United. The Rev John Wilson from the First Christian Church and Ward McFarland from the First Church of god will officiate. Services will be held at the Jackson?Lytle and Coffman Funeral Home, Thursday at 1:30 P.M. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Trostel-Chapman Funeral Home on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church of Donnelsville or to the Hearth Fund.
