Maurice P. O'CONNER (O'CONNOR), 67, of 1527 W. Mulberry st., died at 7:20 a.m. Monday in City Hospital. Mr. O'CONNER (O'CONNOR), a resident of Springfield most of his life, was born May 5, 1891, in Lewis Center, Delaware County, O. He was the son of Maurice and Johannah LYNCH O'CONNER (O'CONNOR). He was employed as a machinist by Springfield Works of the International Harvester Co. until 1945 when he retired after 19 years service. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Holy Name Society of the parish. Survivors include a son, Joseph of Dayton; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred REIGARD and Mrs. Ruth STEINEBRUNNER, both of Springfield; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; four brothers, James , Thomas, Daniel and Jack, all of Springfield , and two sisters, Mrs. Grace LEVALLEY of Columbus and Miss Mary O'CONNER (O'CONNOR) of Springfield. His body was taken to the O'Brien-Kenney funeral home where friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Requiem mass will be sung at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Holy Name Society services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Trostel funeral home in New Carlisle with the Rev. Robert C. Ferguson, pastor of Liberty Pilgrim Holiness Church, officiating. She was a native of Mad River Township, Champaign County, and was a teacher in the Youngstown public schools as well as librarian of the Youngstown Presbyterian Church. A native Springfielder, Mrs. WALKER was born August 14, 1923, and lived here until moving to California 18 months ago. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church in Springfield. She is survived by her husband, Daniel; two daughters and three sons, Patricia, Denise, Donald, Lloyd and Melvin WALKER, all of San Bernardino; her father, George STAFFORD of Springfield; her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth MOSLEY of Cincinnati; one sister, Mrs. Myrtle DEAN, and one foster sister, Mrs. Hazel MCKENZIE, of Springfield; an aunt, Mrs. Marie DAVIS of Springfield; and one uncle, Elmer STAFFORD of Kalamazoo, Mich. Her body was brought to Henry funeral home and will be taken to the residence of her father, 805 Innisfallen av., at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Milton Roe will conduct last rites at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Innisfallen address. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur; two daughters, Mrs. Joan LUMADUE of Alexandria, La., and Mrs. Joyce KOEHLER of Springfield; two sons, James and Jay KRUMHOLTZ; three brothers, George, William and Joseph SCHUTTE, all of Springfield; a sister, Mrs. Helen ARBER of Dayton; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A son Jackie, died of leukemia in 1944. Her body was taken to Conroy funeral home where friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday. John M. FRISZ, 83, of 974 Lagonda Avenue, died at 4:13 a.m. Thursday in Mercy Hospital where he had been a patient one week. He had been in failing health for the last 12 years. Mr. FRISZ was born January 21, 1876, in Martinsville, Ind., the son of George and Mary BRENNER, and had resided n Springfield for more than 55 years. He was employed by the James Leffel Co. for a number of years and in later years was associated with the Automotive Engineering and Sales Co., retiring in 1946. He was a member of St. Bernard Church and the Holy Name Society of that church. Mr. FRISZ and his wife, Augusta, celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary August 23, 1958. Besides his widow, hi is survived by a daughter, Mrs. A. E. ASEBROOK of Springfield; two grandchildren, A. E. ASEBROOK, Jr., and Springfield, and Mrs. Rice BRADFORD of Russells Point; three great-grandchildren; a brother J. H. FRISZ of Terre Haute, Inc., and a number of nieces and nephews. His body was taken to the Conroy funeral home where friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. He attended the Second Church of God in Springfield. He was a member of the Terre Haute Methodist Church and a former employee of International Harvester Company in Springfield. He had been employed by Dingledine Trucking of Terre Haute for 10 years. Survivors include his widow Esther and three daughters: Mrs. Sandra MASSIE of St. Paris, Miss Sue Ellen CALLISON and Miss Elizabeth Ann CALLISON both at home. He is also survived by four sons: Jerry L, Steven D. and Rodney D all at home and James D. of Urbana. Prior to his appointment as city plumbing inspector he was associated with the Jamison Plumbing Co. for approximately 25 years. Page 4. George E. LECRONE, 86, of 1536 W. High St., a former employee of The Sun, died in his residence at 2 a.m., Thursday. Mr. LECRONE, who had been in failing health for about three years, had been seriously ill for one month. A native of Clark County, he was born Feb. 6, 1873, the son of Lewis and Rebecca WENTZ LECRONE. He was a member of Central Methodist Church and the Central First Class of the church. He was also a member of Clark Lodge No. 101, F. and A.M. , which he had served as Tyler for the past seven and one half years. Mr. LECRONE, who had been employed as a pressman by The Sun, left the newspaper in 1898. In 1902 he returned to the staff as circulation manger. In a newspaper interview in 1947, Mr. LeCrone recalled at that time he was in charge of the 43 "little carriers" of the Sun and The Daily News. Leaving the Sun in 1917, he went to the Crowell-Collier Publishing Co. plant as a color pressman, where he was employed until 1935 when he retired. Since that time he has been employed by Chakeres Theaters. Mr. LeCrone and his wife, Mamie CANADY LECRONE, who is his sole survivor, celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary Monday. The body was taken to Woods funeral home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday. The Re. Roland Carter of Central Methodist Church will conduct the last rites in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday, and burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Clark Lodge No. 101, F. For several years, Mr. DUANE was president and secretary-treasurer of Division 851, Amalgamated Association of Street and Railway Employees. He also held member ship in Trinity Lutheran Church. Last rites for Emmett C. DINGLEDINE, 61, of 311 E. Northern Avenue, will be conducted at 9 a.m. Thursday in the St. Raphael Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Mercy Hospital Committee will hold services in the Conroy funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and the St. Bernard Benevolent Society will hold services in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. DINGLEDINE died at 6 p.m. Monday in mercy Hospital where he had been admitted Monday morning. He was born on January 8, 1898, in Terre haut, Ohio, the son of Abraham E. and Margaret BROWN DINGLEDINE and resided in Springfield most of his life. Mr. DINGLEDINE was employed by the Springfield Metallic Gasket Co for 39 years and his most recent position was as an expediter. Among survivors are his widow, Ruth M.; one daughter Mrs. Patricia ZELLER of Springfield; one brother, Homer N. of Terre Haute, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth SHAFFER of Terre Haute; two grandsons, Mark and David of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. DINGLEDINE was a member of the St. Raphael Church, the St. Raphael Holy Name Society, st. Bernard Benevolent Society, mercy Hospital Committee and the Springfield Personnel Association. Friends may call at the Conroy funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday until services.

Mrs Helen Geneva KRIEG, 67, of 802 E Cecil St, died at 11 am Sunday in Mercy Hospital following a long illness. Mrs Krieg, a native of Clark County, was born March 9, 1892, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Fred J KLINE. She was a member of the St Teresa Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society of that church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Post 1031, and the Past Presidents Club of the auxiliary. Survivors are her husband, William E KRIEG, Sr; one son William E KRIEG, Jr; two daughters, Mrs Rita Marie RAMSEY and Mrs Ronald L RICHARDS; one brother Fred KLINE; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her body was taken to the O'Brien Kenney Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 pm Monday. Requiem high mass will be sung in St Teresa Church at 9 am Wednesday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs Nina SMITH BOYD, 76, of 559 Stanton Ave, died in Mercycrest at 6 am Sunday following an extended illness. Mrs Boyd, a charter member of the Springfield Unity Church, was born in Clark County May 27, 1883, the daughter of Amos and Catherine WYATT SMITH. She was a life resident of Clark County. Her husband, Ralph A BOYD, died in 1929. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs Ferd COLLINS of Springfield; one son, Max DYE of Kennewick, Wash; three sisters, Mrs Flossie ROPP and Mrs Sylvia DOWNS of Springfield and Mrs Catherine KNISLEY of Spokane, Wash; one granddaughter; and several nephews and nieces. Her body was taken to the Jackson Lytle funeral home where friends may call after 2 pm Monday, Services will be in the funeral home at 10:30 am Tuesday with the Rev William Nevil of Springfield Unity Church officiating. Burial will be in the Asbury Cemetery.
