He is survived by his wife, Frances; two daughters, Linda DRUMM, of Middletown, and Judy McKEEHAN, of Sarasota, Florida; onestep daughter, Yutonia WATSON, of Waynesville; four sisters, Naomi ROLLINS,of Fort Myers, Florida, Ruth SMITH, of Springfield, Maxine DEXTER and WilmaSNODGRASS, both of Ojai, California; one brother, Burgess ELLIOTT, of Springfield; five grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Eloise (SKAGGS); four daughters, Mrs. Julian (Connie) HILL, Springfield, Mrs. Jimmy (Terry) SAGRAVES, Kentucky, Robin CONLEY MUNGER, Springfield, Donna CONLEY, Springfield; four grandchildren, Tammy, Anthony, Amy and Jason SAGRAVES, all of Kentucky; one brother, James R. He was employed as a traffic manager with SPECO, a division of Kelsey Hayes Corporation, for 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member and former deacon of the Covenant Presbyterian Church and served in the United States Army Air Corp during World War 2. He is survived by his wife, Patricia M. (DOWNEY) BURKS; three daughters, Mrs. Sally FIGLER of Dayton, Tobie Dianne BURKS and Wendy Christine BURKS, both of Springfield. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 8, in the Covenant Presbyterian Church under the direction of Rev. Thomas R. Stout. Survivors include four children, daughter, Lillian BOWER of Loveland, Colorado, son and daughter-in-law, James and Wilma WILES, daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lu and Anthony KOLAKOWSKI and Sally and David SWISSHELM off of New Carlisle; 15 grandchldren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, July 28, 1988 at 10:30 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, New Carlisle with Rev. Richard WARD officiating and assisted by Rev. Jerry K. WILES. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Trostel-Chapman Funeral Home, New Carlisle with Rev. Richard WARD officiating. Burial will be in Medway Cemetery.
