A former Jackson O, resident, Mrs NANCE had made her home in Springfield for the last 35 years and was a member of the Central Christian Church. A daughter of Calvin and Symantha MERCER, she was born in Scioto County on Feb 11, 1879. Survivors are her husband, George W (Burt) NANCE; four sisters, Mrs W G MERCER of Jackson County, Miss Mae MERCER and Mrs Jacob COFFMAN of Jackson, O, and Mrs John GROVER of Springfield; and two brothers, Winfield MERCER of Jackson, O, and Millard MERCER of Jackson County. The Body was taken to the Richards Memorial Home.

Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. A New Moorefield resident all her life, Miss HAUSE was born Feb 26, 1870, the daughter of George W and Charlotte KERSHENER HAUSE. She taught school in New Moorefield for many years and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs Lillie STANDLEY of New Moorefield and Mrs Carrie PHLEGER of Springfield, a brother, Clinton W HAUSE of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.

A native of England, he came to America as a boy with his parents, who settled in Davenport, Ia. In 1917, he came to Springfield as manager of John M. Adams and Co., general insurance firm. He then was employed in the advertising department of The Sun and later was transferred to the advertising department of The Daily News. He left Springfield to work in the advertising department of the Miami Daily News, Miami, Fla., from where he moved to Dayton for employment with The Dayton Daily News. He married Catherine STRITCH of Springfield. Surviving are his widow; tow sons, Charles R., Jr., of Dayton, and Walter L. of Key West, Fla., and tow daughters, Mary Joann and Catherine Ellen of Dayton. Pvt. Ora S. BEAKLER. Funeral services and full military rites will be held Wednesday for Pvt. Ora S. BEAKLER, 24, of 55 Lincoln av., who was killed in action in Normandy, France, in 1944. The body will arrive at Richards Memorial Home at 4:30 p.m. Monday and brief services will be held there at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Military rites will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars at 2 p.m. on Soldiers Mound, Ferncliff Cemetery, where burial is to be made. The son of Mr. And Mrs. Ora BEAKLER, he was born in Greene County, June 30, 1919. Prior to his induction into the Army Dec. 1, 1942, he was employed at the Bauer Brothers Co., Springfield. In April, 1943, Pvt. BEAKLER was sent overseas and was killed in action during the Normandy beachhead operations, June 14, 1944. Besides his widow, Elizabeth BEAKLER, he is survived by his parents, a brother, William of Fairfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary VANGANT of Dayton, and Mrs. Lola KEITH of Fairfield. He is the son of Fay and Ella SALTWELL LEAR of Wolcott, Inc., where he was born. Mr. LEAR was a veteran of World War I, and he attended the Second Church of God. Perry BUCK, 85, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in his 532 Vine st. home. Born in County Waterford, Ireland, he came to Springfield in about 1864. Surviving are the widow, Delia; a brother, Thomas, and a sister, Mrs. Catherine MCNAMARA of London, O. The body was taken to the O'Brien-Kenney funeral home. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Church, and burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Frank WIGHT, 67, President of the Triad Products Co., Inc., died suddenly in his home at 1425 Lexington av., at 3 p.m. Saturday. Death was attributed to a blood clot which caused heart failure. A native of England, he has resided in Springfield for the last 42 years. When Mrs. and Mrs. WIGHT came to the United States they went directly to Cincinnati. Four months later they moved to Springfield. For 18 years Mr. WIGHT worked for the old Superior Gas Engine Co. Then, approximately 22 years ago, he and his late son-in-law started the Triad Products Co. For 20 years the company was located in the Shuey Factories Building, but the last two years the company has been at 108 E. Mulberry st. The company manufactures oil field equipment, including safety belts and vale cups, and also is a distributor for the B. F. Goodrich Co. During the was years the company manufactured war equipment. Mr. WIGHT was born July 2, 1881. His death came one day after he had observed his 67th birthday. He was a member and former choir master of St. Joseph Church, was a member of the Holy Name Society of the church and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Survivors include his widow, Jane; one son, Francis J. WIGHT at home; two daughters, Mrs. Louis JUNG and Mrs. John PHARES, both of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Ethel SOUTHWORTH of Fall River, Mass, and five grandchildren. The body was taken to the O'Brien- Kenney funeral home where it may be viewed until services at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Mr. CONRAD was pronounced dead at 6:25 p.m. Sunday in the Springfield City Hospital after he drank an unknown quantity of acid solution from a wine bottle. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth BRIGHTMAN of Springfield, and Mrs. Catherine SANDERS of Russell Point, and a brother, Frank of Springfield. The body was taken to the O�Brien-Kenney funeral home where it may be viewed until services at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Raphael church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Loren M. HIXON, 63, former Springfield baseball player, died in his residence in New Roam about 8 a.m. Monday. He had been suffering with a hear ailment for about a year. Mr. HIXON was a member of the Springfield Harvesters when the team won the old Ohio State League pennant in 1911. He was a lefthanded pitcher, and was nicknamed, �Old Hickory.� He went to Indianapolis, Springfield�s sponsoring club, for a tryout in 1912. After giving up baseball, Mr. HIXON became a school teacher in southern Ohio, eventually teaching in his native town, Waterloo. �About 10 year ago, he gave up the profession, and until a year ago, was an attendant at the State Hospital in Columbus. Survivors include the widow, Pearl; three sons, James and Kenneth of Columbus, and Davis at home; seven grandchildren; and six nephews, Charles Emil, Elmer, Herman, Donald and Paul HIXON of Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Waterloo Methodist Church. Burial well be in the Waterloo Cemetery.

He was the brother of the late Thomas HOGAN of Springfield, and of the late Timothy S. HOGAN, former attorney general of Ohio.
