Page 7. Robert (Bob) P. WILKINS, 61 of 1410 W. Main st., died at 9:30 p.m. Friday in Mercy Hospital where he was admitted earlier in the day. He had been in failing health for several months. He was born in Champaign County, Jan. 28, 1902, the son of Elmer and Myrtle LOWER WILKINS and had resided in Springfield for the past 16 years. He was a retired employee of the Kenosha Transport Co. Mr. WILKINS is survived by his widow, Edythe; one son, Robert of Hayward, Calif; one daughter, Mrs. Helen BARNES of Riverside, Calif; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle WILKINS of Champaign County; two sisters, Mrs. Irene WALTERS and Mrs. Mable ADKINS, both of Urbana and three grandchildren. The body was taken to the Woods funeral home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening.

Mrs. WYLIE was the wife of the Late Ira B. WYLIE, who at one time was the owner of a jewelry business at the corner of high and Limestone sts. She and her husband moved to Danbury, Conn., where they were residents from 1907 until 1950. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Raymond H. WHITE, 741 N.E. 49th st., Ft. Lauderdale,Fla., with whom she resided following the death of her husband in 1950, and Mrs. Clayton E. BENNETT of Hialeah, Fla., a son, Fred K. WYLIE of Lima, O., six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Interment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery........(rest of obit cut off).

John F. BURNS, 81 of Dayton, formerly of Springfield, brother of Mrs. Clarence TAYNOR of 2146 Hoppes av., died about 10 a.m. Saturday in his residence. Mr. Burns, a former postal employe of Springfield, was born near New Carlisle, April 23, 1882, the son of Frank and Anna FRANTZ BURNS. Prior to his retirement he had been an employe of the Haulman Builders of Dayton. Survivors, in addition to his sister, include his wife, Harriette YOULER Burns; four daughters, Mrs. Wilson ATOR, Mrs. Albert MEYER and Mrs. Charles KEYER of Dayton, and Mrs. Edmund SOULE of Toledo; a son, John, Jr., of Dayton, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His body was taken to the Morris and Sons funeral home in Dayton, where friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Daniel (Dannie) O'CONNOR, 85, of 1717 Lagonda av., died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday in Mercy Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. O'CONNOR, who had been a resident of Springfield most of his life, was born in Enon, Jan 21, 1879, a son of Maurice and Johanna LYNCH O'CONNOR. He retired in 1944, after 42 years of service as a conductor for the New York Central Railroad. He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the Parish. He also was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway conductors and brakemen. Survivors include three brothers, James, Thomas and John, all so Springfield, two sisters Miss Mary O'CONNOR and Mrs. John LEVALLEY of Columbus, and several nieces and nephews. His body was taken to the O'Brien-Kenney funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday. Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Raphael Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Main st., who had been an employee of the Springfield Daily News and Sun for 20 years, ending more than a decade ago, died unexpectedly at 12:30 a.m. Thursday in Grant Hospital, Columbus. Mr. Mansfield, a resident of Springfield for most of his life, was born on Sept. 27, 1899, in Athens, O., a son of Elmer and Jennie SIMMS MANSFIELD. He had also been an employee of the Crowell-Collier Publishing Co. for five years, and for the last seven years employed by the Columbus Dispatch as photoengraver. He attend the Grace United Church of Christ in Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Mabel, a son Oscar A. MANSFIELD of Cocoa, Fla., and four grandchildren. His body was taken to the Littleton funeral home where friends may call 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. E. E. BLOCK. Mrs. BIZZELL had lived in Springfield for 80 years. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, the church deacon board, the church's Aid Society, the Willing Workers Club and the Quenn Esther Bible Class. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Catherine EDMONSON of Cincinnati, and Mrs. Frances PROCTOR of Sewickley, Pa., a son, I. Therodore THOMPSON of New York City; five grandchildren and 22 great-granchildren. The body was taken to the John W. Patterson funeral Home.

Mr. BOTKIN, a retired farmer, was born in Clark County, March 1, 1892, a son of Leedom and Sarah BRUNER BOTKIN. A member of the Newson Chapel Church, he had served as sexton of the Newson Chapel Cemetery for more than 30 years. He was married Dec. 10, 1919, to Mamie BEEK, who survives. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Mrs. Clarabell KERNS and three grand-children, Cynthia, Cheryl and Jane KERNS, all of Springfield; two brothers, Eldon of North Hampton and Homer of East Liberty, Route 1; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys HOPKINS of Ocean City, N. A resident of Springfield for his entire life, he was a member of the Eagle Lodge of Jackson, O., and a Veteran of World War I, servicing with the Navy. Prior to his retirement in 1948, he had been an engineer with the D. T. and I. Railroad for 27 years. Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth; a son, Walter F. of Georgia; a step-son, Will PENDLETON of Charleston, W. Word has been received of the death of Sister Liguori of Mount Joseph Convent, Cincinnati, who died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in the convent, by her sister Miss Augusta HERZOG of Springfield. Sister Liguori was born in Springfield, a daughter of Sebastian and Regina HEIL HERZOG and was a member of the Order of the Sisters of Charity for 51 years. She had taught at Sacred Heart grade school in Dayton, and at schools in Cincinnati, Michigan and Tennessee. Her death was unexpected but followed several years of illness. Survivors in addition to Miss Augusta HERZOG, include two other sisters, Miss Barbara HERZOG and Mrs. Clara BECHT, both of Springfield; three brothers, Henry, Leo and Joseph HERZOG, of Springfield, and two nieces, Sister Rose William and Sister Joanna, both at Mount St. Joseph Convent. Solemn Requiem High Mass will be sung at 10 a.m. Saturday at the convent with the Rt. Rev. Monsignor Carl Richter, officiating. Burial will be in Mount St. Joseph Cemetery.

George Livingston BAKER, 64, of 3712 Avenida Montzuma, Tucson, Ariz., a member of a pioneer Clark County family, died in Tucson Thursday, according to a telegram received here Friday. Mr. BAKER, a native of Springfield and graduate of Springfield South High School, was born December 19, 1900. He attended Wittenberg University, prior to transferring to Ohio State University where he received a degree I civil engineering in 1924. He was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. Prior to his retirement January 1, 1960, he was a chief surveyor for 11 western states for the Shell Oil Co., with whom he started as a rodmen with a field surveying crew in 1924. Survivors include his wife, Beulah S.; three aunts, Dorothy K. LIVINGSTON and Mable HAMMAKER of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth DEAN of Spokane, Wash., and a nephew, Kenneth L. OTSTOT of Cleveland. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Parker, Arizona, Mortuary.

Mrs. AULT, widow of Michael AULT, who preceded her in death in 1957, was born in Clark County, April 19, 1871, a daughter of Jacob and Louisa CRABLE TUTTLE. A member of the Cliffside Presbyterian Church here, she had been a resident of the Clifton community for most of her life. Survivors include two sons, Ralph C. AULT of Cedarville, Route 1, and James Howard AULT of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Hazel OHMART, Misses Blanche and Mary TUTTLE, all of Springfield, and one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. Limestone st., Clark County coroner from 1922 to 1932 and a retired funeral director died at 4 p.m. Monday in Mercy Hospital where he was a patient for three weeks. He was 82. Mr. Schaefer owned and operated the Schaefer Funeral Home until 1935 when he sold his business to Alfred K. Woods. He was the son of Henry L. SCHAEFER, also funeral director, who was a member of the local school board and whose name is commemorated in the name of SCHAEFER Junior High School. Theodore SCHAEFER was a naval veteran of the World War I and a member of Cultice-Ward American Legion Post; Clark Lodge No. 101, F. and A.M.; Springfield Chapter No. 48, R. and A.M.; Springfield Council No. 17 Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Chicago and Medina Temple, Shrine of Chicago. He also was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Louise, and one sister, Mrs. E. R. (Bertha) POLLING of Springfield. The body was taken to the Alfred K. She had been a patient in the hospital for two weeks. She was the wife of Gerald Bettelon. Mrs. Bettelon was vice president of the Women's Society of Christian Service in the Tipp City Methodist Church of which she was a member and was an officer fo the Springfield District WSCS. She was also a member of the Women's Civic Club of Tipp City. Mrs. Bettelon as born in Clark County Nov. 5, 1913, a daughter of Guy and Jennie Allen Ingling. She was a graduate of Enon High School and a former employee of the Crowell-Collier Publishing Co. Surviving in addition to her husband are aa daughter, Nancy, Tipp City; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Hebble and Mrs. Grace Bost, both of Springfield, and four brothers, Dr. Howard Ingling of Springfield, William of Enon and Robert and George of South Charleston. The body is to taken to the Coppock and Lee Funeral Home, Tipp City, where friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. It then will be brought to the Ingling Funeral Home, south Charleston, where friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Francis L. STONE-Services were being arranged Friday at Richards Memorial Home for Francis L. (Frank) Stone, 67, formerly of 403 Montgomery av.. His body was brought to the funeral home from the Veterans Hospital at Chillicothe. Mr. Stone had been a patient at the hospital for 24 years. He was a veteran of WWI. Chillicothe authorities said Mr. Stone had been reported missing from the hospital on March 27. On Sept. 15, his body was found in an open field of a state game preserve adjoining the hospital they said. After lengthy investigation, the identity was established through clothing. Mr. Stone was born in Durbin in Clark County, Dec. 5, 1896, the son of John and Elmina Scoville Stone. Before going to the hospital, he had been a resident of Clark County and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Zeffie of Springfield; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Craves of Huron, O., and Mrs. Frances Johnson of Amherst, O.; two sons, Richard of Springfield and Robert of Columbus; three brothers, George of Medway, Robert of Dayton and John of Urbana; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Blumenshine and Mrs. Helen Swonger, both of Springfield, and eight grandchildren. The body is at the Richards Memorial Home.

Surviving are his widow, Marjorie; a son, Charles of Bryan; his mother who resides in South Charleston, and three sisters, Mrs Margaret WOOSLEY of London, Miss Edna KISSELL in Florida, and Miss Lucille KISSELL at home. Friends may call at the Ingling Funeral Home from 4 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday and funeral services will be conducted there at 4 p.m. Saturday. The body will then be taken to Bryan for funeral services and burial Monday.
