Andrew Clemor TOBIN, 54, of the rear of 820 Kenton st., died in the City Hospital at 6 p.m. Monday after a one-month illness. Mr. TOBIN was born in Jamestown, O., but had been a resident of Springfield for 25 years. He was a member of the East Side Chapel. Survivors include his widow, Goldie: two sons, Thurman and William of Springfield; two brothers, John and Clent TOBIN of Xenia; one sister, Mrs. Versie TIDD, also of Xenia and five grandchildren. The body was removed to the Coffman funeral home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in charge of the Rev. F.L. Blevins, pastor of the Church of God. Burial will be made in Enon Cemetery.

Joseph Vernon HOMER, 72, died Monday at 11:45 a.m. in his home at 359 Section st. Death followed a brief illness and was attributed to a heart ailment. A native of Shelby County, Ill., Mr. HOMER had been a resident of Springfield a number of years. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors are his widow, Mary Elizabeth, two daughters, the Misses Grace H. and Loring HOMER, both of Springfield, a son Dolan of Chicago, Ill., and two grandchildren. The body was removed to the Littleton funeral home.

Alfred TAYLOR, 75, of 234 Dayton av., died at 10 a.m. Saturday at his home after an illness of one year. He was born in Mad River township, and had lived there most of his life. Surviving him are his widow, Rosanna, and two brothers, Jefferson TAYLOR of Route 1, Springfield, and Birch TAYLOR of Enon. �The body was taken to the Boehringer funeral home in Enon, and will be returned to the residence Sunday morning, where friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the residence, and burial will be made in the Enon Cemetery.

Mrs. Anna INGLE , 62, wife of Ora Ingle, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday at her home on Route 1, Springfield, after an illness of several weeks with heart disease. She was a member of the Rocky Point Presbyterian Church. Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters, Mrs. Martha CANTER at home, Ruby of Vianna, Va., Mrs. Gladys MUNCEY of Cape May, N.J.,and Naomi of Brook, Va., and two sons, John of Routel, Springfield, and Harry of Enon. The body was taken to the Boehringer funeral home in Enon. Burial will be in Enon.

Funeral services for David M. TEACH, 76, a founder of the Mad River Mutual Rodded Insurance Association, will be conducted at 2 p. m. Thursday in the Donnels-creek Church of the Brethern by the Rev. N. A. Hockman. Bur-ial will be made in Myers Ceme tery. Friends are asked to omit flowers. Mr. Teach died at 8:30 a. m. Tuesday at his home, Springfield, Route 2. Mr. Teach was a life resident of Clark County. Besides his affilia-tion with the insurance association, Mr. Teach was a farmer. He re-tired from active business about 10 years ago. Mr. Teach was a mem-ber of the German Baptist Church. Survivors are his widow, Amy, six sons; the Rev. Roy B. Teach, Alva R., Edward, Wilbur, Fred and Weldon, a daughter, Mrs. Nellie STUDEBAKER, 23 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mr. Teach's first wife, Clara, died in 1917. Mrs. Anna May LEFFEL, 72, widow of the late Charles R. LEFFEL, died at 9:20 a. m. Wednesday at her home, 422 Linwood av., after an eight-week serious illness. She had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. LEFFEL was born in Greene County, O., and had been a resident of Springfield for the last 50 years. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church and of the Titus Bible Class and the Women's Union of that church. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude HIRTZINGER and Mrs. Doris HAUCK of Springfield; a son, Wallace LEFFEL, of the city; three -sisters, Mrs. Alice BURR BLOCHER of Chicago, and Mrs. Isabel WALTHALL and Miss Laura BURR of Springfield, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The body was taken to the Coffman funeral home.

Walter POTTLE , 83-year old retired blacksmith, died at 9 a.m. Sunday in his home at 509 Vine st. after a two-week illness. Mr. POTTLE was born at Enon on May 19, 1855, and had been a life-long resident of Clark County. He had carried on his trade at Enon until his retirement five years ago. He had been a resident of Springfield for the past three years. Survivors, include his widow, Jennie; two daughters, Mrs. Ada HARTMAN of Enon and Mrs. Glenna ROBINSON of Springfield; four grandchildren, Clyde and Lorraine HARTMAN of Enon and Wilma and Walter ROBINSON of Springfield; a brother Edward POTTLE of Enon, and one great grandchild. The body was removed to the Jackson funeral home where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in charge of the Rev. Edward D. Driscoll, pastor of the St. Mark Lutheran Church. Burial will be made in Enon.

Illness Fatal To Augusta E. MOODY. Life Resident Of Springfield Dies At Age 47. Mrs. Augusta E. MOODY, 47, wife of George T. MOODY, died at 12:43 a.m. Thursday at her home on the Columbus Road, Route 6. She had been ill since Tuesday. Mrs. MOODY was born in Springfield and had lived here all her life. She was active in both church and lodge circles, being noble grand of Star of the East Rebekah Lodge, No. 399. She was also affiliated with Home City Chapter, Order of Easter Star, and Home City Council, No. 27, Daughters of America. For 22 years Mrs. MOODY was a member and ardent worker in the Columbus Avenue United Brethren Church and Sunday School. Surviving besides her husband are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank LINDEMANN, of Route 6; four brother, Henry LINDEMANN of Fort Wayne, Inc., and William, Frank H. and Carl LINDEMANN of Springfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur CRABTREE and Mrs. Dewey ALLEN of this city. The body was taken to the Jackson funeral home and will be returned to the residence Thursday evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Columbus Avenue United Brethren Church and burial will be made in Ferncliff Cemetery. Members of the Star of the East Lodge will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at the lodge hall from where they will go in a body to the MOODY home to conduct services.

Mrs. Mayme A. DAY, 54, practical nurse, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday in her home at 564 East Main Street after a brief illness. Mrs. DAY had lived in Springfield all her life. She was a member of the St. Bernard's Church, the Ladies Sodality of the church, the women's auxiliary of Champion Aerie No. 397, F. O. E., and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. Survivors include a daughter, Angela, of Springfield; five sisters, Mrs. Kate DEGENHART of Cincinnati, Mrs. Margaret GROEBER and Mrs. Elizabeth DAY of Springfield, Mrs. Edward STRAUSS of Chicago, and Mrs. FRED ROTHE of New Brighton, Pa., and three brothers, John Jake and George Schaefer, all of Springfield. Funeral arrangements are in charge of George J. Degenhart. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the St. Bernard Church with burial in St. Bernard Cemetery. The Ladies Sodality of the St. Bernard Church will hold services at 8 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Cast was born and reared in Springfield, where he had lived all his life. At the time of his death he was president of the S.W.O.C. Local 1713. He was a member of the St. Raphael Church and of the Holy Name Society. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Clara CAST; three sons, Edward, Robert and John, and three daughters, Mrs. George HEIL and the Misses Margaret and Anne CAST, all of Springfield, his father, George CAST of Chillicothe; and two sisters, Mrs. Darl MILLER of Marion, Ind., and Mrs. Susanne TITUS of Chillicothe. Thomas RISER, 68, was found dead in bed in his home, 1240 W. Perrin av., Sunday at 7:55 a.m. Police reported that an attendant of Mr. RISER's stated he had been ill for several days. The body was removed to the Ewing funeral home.

The body is at the O'Brien Funeral Home, where it will remain until time of services.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary CLICK; one step-son Harry ZIGLER of this city; a step-daughter, Mrs. Marian PETITT of San Bruno, Calif.; one sister Mrs. Ida EVANS of Jackson, Mich., and a brother, Frank CLICKof Springfield. The body is at the Herr and Fox Funeral Home for services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with burial in Enon.

Tracy N. COLLINS, 53, a native and lifelong resident of New Carlisle, died Sunday at 3:30 a.m., in the City Hospital. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage. He was the son of George and Lula COLLINS. One brother and two sisters survive. They are Charles of Springfield, Mrs. Georgia LEWIS of Tipp City, and Mrs. Ada BELL of Steubenville, O. The body was removed to the Doom Brothers funeral home in New Carlisle, where private funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be made in the New Carlisle Cemetery.

He also was affiliated with Ingomar Lodge No.610, Knights of Pythias; Champion aerie No. 397, Fraternal Order of Eagles,and St. John Evangelical Church. His widow, Hazel; two daughters, Wanda, at home, and Mrs. Annita VEST of Springfield; his father, Dennis DRAKE of Columbus, and one grandson survive. The body was removed to the Littleton Funeral Home and was to be returned to the residence Monday afternoon, where funeral services will be held at3 p.m. Tuesday in charge of the Rev. Dr. C. A. SUNBERG. Burial will be made in Glen Haven Memorial Park.

Burial was made in the New Carlisle Cemetery. Mrs. Bowers died at 9:15 p.m. Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton after several years of failing health. The body was taken to the Trostle Funeral Home here and was removed to the residence Tuesday night. Mrs. Bowers was born and reared in Dayton for 21 years, moving back here six years ago. Besides her husband she leaves a son, Roger; a daughter, Mary Ellen, both at home, and two sisters, Mrs. John NEFF of near Medway and Mrs. Oran SMITH of North Hampton.
